Meet Jocelyn Peters-Benke

Jocelyn has over 15 years experience in the insurance industry – as both an underwriter and broker.

Her time in the industry has not only allowed Jocelyn to build her knowledge and expertise through formal insurance based education, but also through the wide cross-section of clients she has had the privilege of working for during this period. Jocelyn’s exposure to all types of industries and businesses has allowed her to develop an intimate understanding of how each should best be protected – and then applies that knowledge to the individual insurance placement process for every client.

“It is important to me that my client’s recognise the ‘value balanced’ options I provide, I truly put myself in my client’s shoes and work hard to get the balance between coverage and price they need” says Jocelyn.

“Insurance is something that cannot be rushed; a rushed decision can lead to ultimate disappointment at claim time. I ensure that every possible angle is investigated to deliver peace of mind to my client and allow them to get on with what they do best – running their business. Insurance is something they don’t need to worry about”.

Jocelyn particularly likes working with her Not for Profit and Aged Care clients. Throughout Jocelyn’s career, these segments have become her specialties.

Giving back to the community is something Jocelyn also takes seriously, and for many years she has been an active volunteer for her local church.  Coming from a very close-knit family, Jocelyn enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews and extended family in general. She affectionately refers to them as ‘her world’.

When she is not busy making sure her clients are receiving the high level of service they expect, Jocelyn can be found refining her skill at her new found sporting interest of Golf. Jocelyn is also passionate about Hockey and Netball.

Cooking and baking are also proficient skills, but with most of her days spent focusing on her clients, Jocelyn admits that this particular hobby often has to take a back seat.
